long intake pipes, for immediate response to the throttle regardless of revs.

The larger displacement and new Transient Spark system, as well as the shorter 1.75:1 gear ratio on the leg, dramatically increase torque output on the compact 1.25-inch propeller shaft, which is designed for near water surface operation and high speed applications. flexibility of choices in mounted propellers.

Mercury's V-8 and V-6 ProXS engines turn every drop of fuel into performance, delivering excellent economy at cruising speeds and full power. Closed-loop range optimization (ARO) settings offer precise control of the air-fuel mixture for optimum economy and performance.

Plenty of current
An all-powerful alternator provides (for consumption only – net price) a current of 20 Amps at idle and 85 Amps total at full power. The Idle Charge management technology recognizes the discharged batteries due to consumption, automatically increasing the idle speed to produce more current and charge the batteries to the intended levels.


The engine cover stays in place
For easy checking of the engine oil level and periodic topping up, simply open the handy and watertight maintenance hatch on the top of the engine cover. Even smarter, the electronic oil level detection system (optional) with a special sensor automatically warns you of any low oil level during the process
engine start.
