For the 250hp V6 engines, features such as Digital Electric Steering (DES), Yamaha's exclusive TotalTilt function and Thrust Enhancing Reverse Exhaust (TERE) system and XTO DNA are what make them the premier Yamaha outboards .

Digital electric power steering now standard on the 250-hp V6 engines, equipped with power steering. The DES system offers a much smoother and more intuitive steering experience, while all 250bhp non-SBW V6 engines are fully compatible with optional DES for retrofitting.
